Habitat Fair
All are welcome to come to the Backyard Habitat Family Fair at IslandWood on Sunday, June 29 from noon-4 pm.
Come and be inspired to create wildlife-friendly spaces right in your own backyard! Learn how your yard can be certified as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat. It’s fun and rewarding!
Here is a sample of the activities for your enjoyment:

See a live demonstration bee hive.

Build a bird nest box. Make an origami animal.

Plant a sunflower seed.

Listen to stories that celebrate the natural world.

Come to The Bat Man show-and-tell.

Take a guided nature walk. Decorate a toad abode.

Say hello to Sammy Snag.
